Hawaiian shirts for real groups, made in good company

We started Custom Hawaiian Shirts UK because nobody in Britain was making proper, group-ready Hawaiian shirts without enormous minimums or six-week waits. So we built one ourselves.

1. 2021

   The first order

   A rugby club in Bristol asked if we could print twelve matching Hawaiian shirts for their end-of-season tour. We said yes — then spent the next month finding suppliers, fabric mills, and a print partner who could actually deliver in three weeks. The shirts landed on time. The club won the tour.

2. 2022

   100 groups in, lessons learned

   By the end of our second year, over a hundred UK groups had worn our shirts — birthdays, weddings, stag-dos, corporate days out, festival crews. We dropped the minimum from 25 to 10 because most groups simply didn't need 25 shirts. We also made design revisions free and unlimited, because charging for revisions felt like punishing customers for caring.

3. 2023

   No more import duty surprises

   UK customers were getting hit with unexpected duty charges at the door — sometimes £40-£80 on a small order. We restructured our entire supply chain so every shipment ships DDP. The price you see is the price you pay, full stop.

4. 2024

   500+ groups, faster turnaround

   We brought parts of production in-house and shortened our standard turnaround to 3–4 weeks from artwork approval. Express options dropped to under three weeks for groups on a deadline.

5. Today

   1,000+ groups and counting

   Same low minimum (10 shirts), same free unlimited revisions, same DDP shipping, same obsession with making sure every group looks the part on the day. Every shirt still gets a free mockup, and we still reply within 6 hours.
